Session met and was opened with prayer.

Members present were L. C. Rutter, Moderator, E. W. Daniels, J. A. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders.

No business for the consideration of Session, took recess until Sabbath morning.

Session met and was opened by prayer.

Olive Church, Thursday Jan. 5, 1871.

Session met and was opened with prayer.

Members present were Rev. L. C Rutter, Moderator, E. W. Daniels and S. Aikin, Elders.

Miss Jennie Schrieber presented herself before the Session and was recieved into full communion of the Church on profession of her faith in Christ.

Took recess until evening after public worship.

Session met as above with the addition of Elder, J. A. Marquis. No other business Session recessed until to-morrow, Friday, Jan. 6.

Session again convened. Nothing further claiming their attention, took recess until Saturday after service. At this time R. J. Marquis was recieved, on examination into full communion of the Church. Again took recess until after service to-night. No other business again took recess until to-morrow night.

Sabbath after service, took recess until Monday morning.

Jan. 9th, Session met and members present were Rev. L. C. Rutter, Moderator. E. W. Daniels, J. A. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders. Conversed with different persons in regards to their spiritual interests. Took recess until after service to-night. Miss Ella McGlashan appeared before Session and was recieved into full communion with the Church, on profession of her faith in Christ. Took recess until Tuesday night, Jan. 10th.

Session met and members present were as above. There being nothing claiming their attention, took recess until evening after service. Wed. night Jan. 11th, adjourned to meet at the call of the Moderator.

Jan. 12,

Session met and was constituted with prayer.

Members present were Rev. L. C. Rutter, Moderator, E. W. Daniels, J. A. Marquis, and S. Aikin, Elders. Miss Nolie Gill was recieved, on examination, into full membership with the Church.

Session recessed until Friday night after service.

Session met and members were as above. Nothing claiming their attention, took recess until Saturday night Jan. 14th. At this time Emmie Hopper and Mrs. Mary J. Stewart appeared before Session and were recieved, on examination, into full communion with this Church. Miss Jennie Schreiber and Emmie Hopper, not being baptised, the ordinance of baptism was administered to them. Recieved at the same time, by letter, from the Baptist Church at Caldwell, Mrs. Elizabeth J. Steen.

Sabbath, Jan. 13th, the Lord's Supper was dispensed. Took recess until after service to-night.

Session convened, members present as above. No other business, adjourned to meet at the call of the Moderator. Closed with prayer.

Recieved into full communion with this Church, by letter, from Bristol, Mr. Isaac N. Bell. Closed with prayer. S. Aikin, Clerk.

Nov. 18, 1871.

Session met and was constituted with prayer.

Members present were Rev. L. C. Rutter, Moderator, E. W. Daniels, J. A. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders.

Mr. Charles Stewart came before the Session and was recieved into full communion with the Church, on public profession of his faith in Christ.

Session took recess until to-morrow after service.

Jan. 13, 1872.

Session met and was constituted with prayer.

Members present were Rev. L. C. Rutter, Moderator, J. A. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders.

Miss Mary Francis came before Session and made a public profession of her faith in Christ and was recieved into full communion of this Church. The ordinance of Baptism was administered to her this same evening. Closed with prayer. S. Aikin, Clerk.

Apr. 3rd, 1872.

Session met and was constituted with prayer.

Members present were Rev. L. C. Rutter, Moderator, J. A. Marquis, E. W. Daniels, and S. Aikin, Elders.

Several members, whose names remain on the roll of the Church, having absented themselves from the ordinances of the Church, the following committees were appointed to wait on them. J. A. Marquis to visit James Thompson, Dr. Black and wife. Mr. Daniels to wait on J. P. Gill, Calvin McGlashan, Dunlap Wiley and Elizabeth Reed. S. Aikin to visit David Selix, Nelson Marquis and wife.

Session took recess to meet at the call of the Moderator.

Olive Church, May 11th, 1872.

Session met at the call of the Moderator. Opened by prayer.

Members present were Rev. L. C. Rutter, Moderator, E. W. Daniels, J. A. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders.

The committee appointed at the previous meeting made the following report. Mr. Daniels visited J. P. Gill, Dunlap Wiley and Calvin McGlashan. The reasons of the two formen were considered insufficient for not attending upon the ordinances of the Church. After due process they were suspended from the privileges of the Church. Calvin McGlashan's case was held for further consideration. Mr. Marquis reported that he called on Dr. Black and wife and their cases were held for further consideration. James Thompson was visited but gave no satisfactory evidence of Christian character. The honor of religion demands that he be suspended from the Church. S. Aikin visited Nelson Marquis, Sarah E. Marquis and David Selix. None of these gave any evidence of Christian character and having absented themselves for a number of years, the honor of religion demanded that they all be suspended from the sealing ordinances of the Church. Session took recess until the 17th of the present month.

Olive Church, May 17, 1872.

Session met and was constituted by prayer.

Members present were Rev. L. C. Rutter, Moderator, J. A. Marquis and E. W. Daniels, Elders.

Consulted on the general interest of the Church. Took recess until to-morrow.

After service Saturday evening Session convened. Members present as above with the addition of S. Aikin. Nothing claiming the attention of Session, took recess until Sabbath morning, when the Lord's Supper was dispenced.

Olive Church, Oct. 18th, 1872.

Session met and was opened with prayer.

Members present were Rev. L. C. Rutter, Moderator, J. A. Marquis, E. W. Daniels and S. Aikin, Elders. The cases of Dr. Black and Calvin McGlashan were considered. After due process the charge against Dr. Black was sustained. Neglecting to attend on the ordinance of the Church, and failing to pay the money he subscribed to the Church. The case against Calvin McGlashan for neglecting to attend on the ordinances of the Church and neglect of duty. The honor of religion demanded that they both be suspended from the sealing ordinances of God's house. The following persons were suspended from the communion of the Church, Dr. Black, Calvin McGlashan, David Selix, James Thompson, Dunlap Wiley, Nelson Marquis and wife and J. P. Gill. The above to be read next Sabbath from the pulpit.

Feb. 15th, 1873.

Session met and was constituted with prayer.

Members present were Rev. Tannehill, Moderator, E. W. Daniels, J. A. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders.

Recieved to full communion of the Church on profession of their faith in Christ were, Nora Hull, Wm. F. McGlashan, Calvin L. Boggs and Easton N. D. Boggs.

Session took recess until evening. Members present as above. No business claiming the attention of Session, will take recess until Monday.

Monday Feb. 17, Session convened, no further business, closed by prayer.

Mar. 6th, 1873.

Session met and was constituted by prayer.

Member present were Rev. S. Wallace, Moderator, E. W. Daniels, J. A. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders.

Recieved in full communion with the Church, on profession of their faith in Christ, Miss Linda Hull, Lida Stoneking, Elizabeth Racy and Mariah Boggs. Session took recess until to-morrow after service.

Friday evening, Session convened. Members present as above. Miss Nina Selix and Phoeba McGlashan come before Session and were recieved on examination, into full communion with the Church. Session took recess until Saturday at close of service.

Session met. All the members present as above at which time Miss Mary Barkley and Susan McGary came before Session and were recieved into full communion on profession of their faith in Christ. Session took recess until close of service at night.

Saturday night. Session met. Members present were Rev. S. Wallace, Moderator, J. A. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders. Lewis Otto Schreiber came before Session and was recieved, on examination, into full communion with the Church. Session then took recess until service Sabbath night.

Session met, members present as of above with the addition of E. W. Daniels.

No business claiming attention, Session took recess until close of service Monday. Calvin McGlashan (suspended member) was restored to full membership in this Church. Miss Linda Hull, Susan McGarry and Mary Barclay were baptised. Session closed by prayer. S. Aikin, Clerk.

August 10, 1873.

Dismissed by letter, to connect with the First Presbyterian Church at Zanesville, Miss Nora Hull.

September 27, 1873.

Session met and was opened with prayer.

Members present were Wm. M. Galbrath, Moderator, J. A. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders. No business claiming the attention of Session, took recess until Sabbath evening. Members present as above at which time Miss Nannie Marquis, Frank Sill, Israel Boggs and R. J. Stewart presented themselves before Session and were recieved into full communion with the Church, on public profession of their faith in Christ. Miss Nannie Marquis, not being baptised, that ordinance was administered to her. Session took recess until Monday evening, after service.

Jan. 11, 1874.

Session met and was opened with prayer.

Members present were Rev. Wm. M. Galbrath, Moderator, E. W. Daniels, J. A. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders.

Mrs. Rachael Morgaridge and Edward Marquis presented themselves before Session and after examination were recieved into full communion with the Church, on profession of their faith in Christ. Session then took recess until Jan. 12th.

Members present as above with the exception of J. A. Marquis. Mrs. Clarissa A. Morrison and Miss Mauella May Davis were recieved, on examination, into full communion with the Church. The ordinance of Baptism was administered to both the above. Recieved by letter from the Methodist Church, Mrs. Mary Bell.

April 6, 1874.

April 11, 1874.

Session met and constituted by prayer.

Members present were Rev. Wm. M. Galbreath, Moderator, E. W. Daniels and S. Aikin, Elders.

Mr. John Conner and Miss Elizabeth J. Porter were recieved into full communion of the Church. Session then took recess until Sabbath evening. No business requiring the attention of Session, adjourned. Closed with prayer.

At this time Mr. Joseph P. Gill came before Session, professing faith in Christ and was recieved into full communion with the Church. Session took recess until after service to-night, Saturday night, Session met with members present as above. No business. Sabbath, Mr. Gill recieved the ordinance of Baptism. Closed with prayer. S. Conversed respecting the interest of the Church. John M. Boggs and S. Aikin were appointed to meet with the committee of the Session of Caldwell Church in order to unite the two churches in one charge, and secure a minister to labor in the two churches. Closed by prayer. S. Aikin, Clerk.

August 18, 1877.

Session met and was opened by prayer.

Olive Church, Nov. 5, 1877.

Session met at the house of Mr. Spencer.

Members present were Rev. R. Tannshill, Moderator, J. B. Marquis, J. W. Boggs and S. Aikin, Elders.

Olive Church, Jan. 10, 1878.

Session met. No ordained minister being present, one of the Elders, E. W. Daniels moderated Session, with J. B. Marquis, J. M. Boggs and S. Aikin, Elders.

Miss Clara Racey came before the Session and recieved into full communion with the Church on profession of her faith in Christ. S. Aikin, Clerk.

Olive Church, Mar. 13, 1878.

Session met and was opened by prayer.

Members present were Rev. C. Taylor, Moderator, J. B. Marquis, J. M. Boggs and S. Aikin, Elders.

Recieved by letter from the U. P. Church of Uniontown, Mr. Thomas Henderson and Mrs. Maria Henderson. Session adjourned until after service to-morrow.

Saturday, Session met and members present as above. Recieved by letter, Mr. N. and Mrs. M. Workman and on examination Miss Maggie McGlashan. Session adjourned until Sabbath morning.

Members present as above.

Recieved on public profession of faith in Christ, Mrs. Lutitia Morrison and Mrs. Hattie McGlashan. Mrs. McGlashan, not being baptised the ordinance of Baptism was administered to her.

Session took recess until Mar. 17th. Members present were Rev. Taylor, Moderator, J. M. Boggs, J. B. Marquis and S. Aikin, Elders.

No business claiming the attention Session, took recess until Mar. 18th. Members present as above. There appeared before Session Mrs. Serepts J. Marquis, Jennie Reed, Mr. Wm. and Mrs. Susan Boggs, Mrs. Angeline Dudley, Maggie Marquis, Alto Selix, Fulton Selix and Martha E. Boggs. All the above were recieved into full communion with the Church. Mrs. Dudley, Maggie Marquis Jennie Reed, not being baptised, the ordinance of Baptism was administered to them. Session adjourned until the 19th. No business, took recess until to-morrow night Mar. 20th. Session met, having no Moderator proceeded as above. Members present were J. B. Marquis, J. M. Boggs and S. Aikin, Elders.

There came before Session, Mrs. Kate Marquis, Nettie Herald, Lillie Norwood, Mary L. Beckley, Mary Baldridge and Louie Foster. Kate Marquis, Nettie (or Nellie) Herald, Lillie Norwood and Mary Beckley, not being baptised, their baptism was deferred until a future time.

Thursday night Mar. 21st. Session met. Members present as above. There appeared before Session, Mrs. Mary J. Wiley, Mr. Lawrence Huston, neither of them being baptised, their baptism was also deferred. Session adjourned until Mar. 22nd. Session met. Members present J. B. Marquis, J. M. Boggs and S. Aikin, Elders. Mr. Rufus Wiley, James Martin and Miss Maud Yerian came before the Session and were recieved into full communion with the Church. Mr. Wiley and Miss Yerian, not being baptised, it will be attended to in the future.

March 23rd. Mo Moderator. Session all present. E. W. Daniels, J. M. Boggs, J. B. Marquis and S. Aikin. Robert Gill and Lawrence Marquis came before Session and were recieved, on profession of their faith in Christ. Neither of them being baptised, it was deferred until a future time. Took recess until Sabbath night March 24th. Session met. All members present as above. No other business claiming the attention of Session, closed by prayer. A. Aikin, Clerk.

Olive Church, April 7th, 1878.

Session met and was opened by prayer.

Members present were Rev. S. Mahaffey, Moderator, J. M. Boggs and S. Aikin, Elders.

Recieved by letter from the U. P. Church, Mrs. Elizabeth Ewing and Miss Rebecca Ewing. The following persons being previously recieved into the communion of the Church and not being baptised, their Baptism was attended to, Robert Gill, Lawrence Marquis, Lawrence Huston, Kate Marquis, Nellie Herald, Lillie Norwood, Rufus Wiley, M. J. Wiley, Maud Yerian and Mary Beckley. Session closed by prayer.

Recieved into full communion with the Church on profession of her faith in Christ, Miss Elizabeth Wiley, an invalid. Not being Baptised, the ordinance of Baptism was administered to her. Closed by prayer.

Mrs. Mary Huston came before Session and was recieved into full communion with this Church, on profession of her faith in Christ. Not being baptised, the ordinance was administered to her. Session met and was opened by prayer.

Members present were Rev. J. A. Baldridge, Moderator, E. W. Daniels, J. B. Marquis, J. M. Boggs and S. Aikin, Elders.

Recieved into full communion with this Church, on profession of their faith in Christ, Mrs. Abagail Norwood, Mr. James and Mrs. Annie Milligan, Mr. Simeon McFarlan, Wm. Evans, Sim Marquis and Frank Boggs. J. E. Marquis was restored to his former standing. Mr. S. McFarland and Miss Annie Milligan, not being baptised, the ordinance was administered to them.
